About Us

WELCOME
To the Utah P2P JA Family Network!
(Parent2Parent + Peer2Peer)

Our mission is to build a support system by providing opportunities for parents, kids, and teens to connect while navigating the world with a rheumatic disease.

Our goal is to be a valuable resource for families affected by Juvenile Arthritis.  We are here to work with the families of the network to help set up parent-to-parent encounter groups, local gatherings, and provide information for the statewide events.

We are organized and executed by families of the network, and supported by the Arthritis Foundation, Great West Region.

We aspire to help each individual family based on their needs.  We do not want a family to have to go through this alone.  Please let us know how we can help you!

We provide a quarterly newsletter with updated important information, a facebook page to link families, a blog to allow constant communication, and many opportunities to volunteer.  We also help facilitate statewide events (such as JA Family Day), and fundraising opportunities (such as the Arthritis Walk and Jingle Bell Run/Walk) to support the Arthritis Foundation.

We connect families of the network by dividing our state into four local zones. These zones are intended to help families reach out to other families in their area.  We work directly with the families in each zone to create fun get-togethers, encounter groups, and other opportunities for the families to be connected.

We need families!  We would like to connect as many JA families as possible.  Please let us know if you would be willing to be a zone leader and help us put all of this together in your area.
